Introducing Spring House Ugly Cute Metrobeans (丑萌都市豆), a lineup of bean-shaped plush characters dressed up as the everyday workers of the city — the lifeguard, the burnt-out programmer, the gardener, the idol, the designer, and one rare CEO Mama running the whole show. They are wild, they are weird, they are deeply ugly-cute, and they are honestly some of the highest-quality designer plushies I've handled this year. Pure chaotic-couture energy.

Each Metrobean has the signature exaggerated bean face — big glossy resin head with sleepy half-lidded eyes, painted-on tear streaks, blushie cheeks, and the most incredible oversized pouty resin mouth that gives every one of them so much personality. Their bodies are wrapped in dense premium plush "costume" hoods themed to their job, with embroidered details, satin accents, real fabric outfits, button details, and accessories pinned in place. They are weirdly handsome up close, you have to see them in person to fully appreciate the level of craftsmanship. ♡

The packaging is its own moment — vibrant Y2K-meets-pop-art outer boxes with all the bean characters hanging out together, and each character's collector card has a tiny comic strip on the back telling a little story about that bean's life in the city. So fun. So collectible. So weird.
